family cycling outdoors

On September 14th volunteers will come together at The Eagle Sports Complex in Eagle, Idaho to contribute to a great cause. Jordan’s Ride is a bicycle ride meant to raise money and give awareness to Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. This bicycle ride is hosted by Barefoot Media Ministries and has already donated 9,000 dollars towards SUDC.

This Caldwell Community charity bicycle ride begins at 12:00 am and ends around 4:00 pm with 100 percent of the money spent to register going straight to beneficiaries. Bring the family to honor the heartbreaking loss of Jordan Michael Zappia, a child of only 16 months who passed away from SUDC. Registered riders will get to pick from a 10, 30, 50, and 100 mile routes to cycle and will receive a free t-shirt and meal.

Jordan’s Ride is a dream for bicycle riders looking to be challenged for a great cause. Beginner riders can enjoy the “Casual Ten” bicycle route with hardly any elevation changes. Intermediate riders can choose from a 30-mile route or the “Fierce Fifty” a 50-mile route that will challenge you to the finish line. The “Insane Century” 105-mile route is available for experienced cyclists ready to work up a sweat. All routes are supported with medical wagons and rest stations.

Face painting and bounce houses are only some of the kid friendly fun offered for kids who attend Jordan’s Ride so do not be afraid to bring the family! An after ride party will be available at the finish line for hard working riders. Enjoy a picnic style meal with free food for the kids and $10 meals for non-riders. Bring the whole family to Jordan’s Ride to enjoy the beautiful Idaho weather and benefit a beautiful cause!
